If you have “password checking” enabled and/or use a password policy in your Domino environment, Lotus Notes remembers (by default) the last 50 passwords you used to protect the Notes ID file and if you try to use one of these passwords you will get the error “You have used this password before. Please choose a new one“.
So far so good, but….
Don´t run “load compact -c -i” (uses copy-style compaction and ignores all errors without a warning) on Domino 8.0.2.
As descibed here, it can result in the loss of the database. This seems to be a bug only in 8.0.2 and is addressed in 8.0.3, additionally you can contact IBM to obtain a hot fix.

Oder funktioniert bei IBM etwa das automatische Publizieren von Technotes / Artikeln nicht richtig?

Wie bereits angekuendigt, ist Notes / Domino 8.0.2 ab heute verfuegbar und kann fleißig runtergeladen werden. Allerdings vermiss ich momentan noch den Domino Server 8.0.2 fuer Linux.
