Adding the IBM Connections full text search functionality to your Internet Explorer (tested with IE 8) is quite straightforward, just follow these steps:
Navigate to “Add search providers to Internet Explorer”
Enter the IBM Connections search URL
(https://<your IBM Connections host>/search/web/search?query=TEST),
a descriptive name and click install.
Select the Connections search provider from the search bar drop down list and search.
